Thanks for viewing people. I do not have much knowledge on 2 things in the car business. 1) is tuning. 2) Radio system wiring and fine tuning of the system. Anyways, on with the problem. I have an Alpine CDA-9855, and after cranking the radio passed the volume level 15, and it goes up to 30, it shuts off. WHY??? I searched the Alpine site and could not find anything about a problem like that. I also had that unit in my 1ga and no problems there, even at 15. Now in the 2gb it can even shut off at 12-13 depending how loud or how much bass the song has. Everything else works fine. I used a harness when I installed it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's what I was thinking. I though I had good ground. I have it ground to the body thru a screw. I should try to find a better one, I'll give it try thanks.
