Hey everyone,

Wow, we've already got 36 people signed up for the All Mitsu Cookout. That is a great response so far.

I've got a flyer made up for the event. Its at:
http://www.mn3s.org/cookout-flyer.doc

These flyers are at Brookdale Mitsubishi and the Ellingson Car Museum, but I can always use more help in getting the word out. So if you know of any places in the Twin Cities that you think would help, let me know. Or at least print some off and hand them out to any new Mitsu owners you meet.

Thanks,
Curt

Hey guys,

We've got 48 sign-ups now. Things are coming along great! I've added a page with the sign-ups on them. Its at:
http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2005.html

So if your buddy said they were going to the Cookout and you don't see them on the list, you can start bugging them about it. ;)

We now have 60 cars signed up. Thats awesome!

One thing I wanted to remind people about... The All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show isn't just for flashy show cars, its for all Mitsus. Even daily drivers and not so perfect Mitsus are welcome. Its just as much about getting together for a big BBQ as it is a car show. So don't worry if your car isn't a "show car".

Hey Steve,

I see you signed up. Thanks! I do have some hotels listed on the Cookout main page. I'd recommend either the Americinn or Super 8. They are both pretty close to the museum that the Cookout is at. How far are you travelling?

Hey everyone,

The sign-ups continue to pile up. We are up to 76 cars signed up. Thats a good 25-30 more cars then last year at this time!

I also wanted to mention our sponsors for the All Mitsu Cookout. Our main sponsor is Brookdale Mitsubishi. Brookdale has sponsored the Cookout for the last three years and the Cookout wouldn't be where it is today without there support. There website is: http://mitsu.lutherauto.com/Default.aspx Chris Cabe, in there parts department, is always willing to go the extra mile for his customers.

LSE Performance is also sponsoring the All Mitsu Cookout. LSE is a brand new shop and they have a ton of experience with working on Mitsus. There website is: http://www.lse-performance.com/index.html

Thanks,
Curt

I'm not sure which people are from which messageboard. Most of the Twin Cities DSM owners are on www.dsmstyle.com

There are a couple other people from the LaCrosse area that said they were coming. Mike Holler has a green 92 Stealth and Trevor J has a white 04 EVO MR. They both told me they were coming, but they are not signed up yet. If you know them, you could caravan up with them.

Hey everyone,

I've finalized the pricing. The Cookout will again only cost $5 for you, a guest and your car. That includes the car show and all you and your guest can eat.

To help speed up the registration the day of the show, you can Paypal me the $5 now. My paypal is [email protected]

A big thanks to our sponsors. Because of there help, we can keep this event cheap. Its probably the most fun you can have for five bucks. ;)

i think i will go. i need to get more active with dsm people. i am purchasing my EVO soon and would like to spend more time with dsm owners.

Hey guys. this event sounds like a lot of fun. I was wondering if N/T DSMs are welcome to the show? Haha, would I be laughed at showing up in my stock GS? I am saving up for a GSX, but am stuck with the GS for now.

Non-turbo DSMs are more than welcome. I think we already have four or five signed up.

Things are looking really good for the Cookout. We are now up to 97 sign-ups. I've updated the sign-up list. You can see the huge variety of Mitsus at: http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2005.html

We are still on pace to have at least 120 cars the day of the show. Some of the cars scheduled to be there include the world's fastest full weight 3/S, the only 3g twin turbo Eclipse utilizing 3/S turbos and manifolds. Or how about an Avenger with a turbo 4g63 engine and AWD.

Its gonna be a great collection of Mitsubishis. Hope you can make it.

My mom's family lives in the Twin Cities so I go up to MN often to visit... Man, I love it up there, and I really with I could make this BBQ... I'll be visiting MN August 5th! I miss the meet by just a couple weeks :( Best of luck though guys, sounds like you should have a real good turnout! :thumb:

Hey everyone,

We've got 107 sign-ups so far!! We are only a little over two weeks away now. If you haven't signed up yet, its not too late. The sign up form is at:
http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=4

After you sign up, take a minute and Paypal me the $5 registration fee. You don't have to pay ahead of time, but it speeds things up the day of the show and it makes my life easier. My paypal is: [email protected]

Also, you can print off your car sign ahead of time too. The car sign is at:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign.doc
My example sign is at:
http://www.mn3s.org/car-sign-curt.doc

If you do these three things, you'll be set for the All Mitsu Cookout.

We'll easily break the 120 car mark. Its gonna be fun!!

Plans are coming along great for the Cookout. The trophies are ordered and a lot of the supplies are purchased. The only thing we need now is more cars! We are up to 119 cars signed up, which is great, but I know we can do better.

I updated the sign-up list last night. Its at: http://mn3s.org/attendees2005.html And we've had five more sign-ups since then.

If you haven't signed up yet and you are planning on coming, please sign-up. Its saves me time on the day of the show. Then send me the $5 through paypal and print off your car sign and you'll be good to go.

Its crunch time now.

Hey everyone,

The All Mitsu Cookout is only two days away. Woo-hoo! I just checked the sign up list and we have 151 cars signed up!! WOW!

We'll be using the FRS radios for annoucing prize winners. There is always the urge to chit chat with your buddies on these things. I'd love it if you tryed to resist that urge. A lot of people will be listening for the car numbers. We have a lot of prizes to give away, so we'll be giving stuff away during the whole show.

I've also gotten some last minute giveaways. http://www.rockauto.com gave me enough magnets for everyone. And they gave me a $25 gift certificate. Plus our sponsors, Brookdale Mitsubishi, LSE Performance, and JET's Customs all donated prizes.

Hope you can make it out to the All Mitsu Cookout. It is this Sunday and it runs from 11am to 4pm.
