ok, well id just like to start to by saying im pretty new to the DSM world, even though my first car was a 90 laser turbo 5 speed car, didnt know it was anything special untill i got rid of it, i owned a big block mopar at the time and remember thinking when guys would wana race me they would probley have had a hard time with my daily driver but anyways.
i am a turbo buick guy ben building those for a few years still have one that runs low 11s but now i want to do something differnt with this 90 GSX I bought. and was wondering if its possible to take theese little cars and turn them into something that can compete with high end supercars that do it all like the 911 porsche TT etc.... stuff ike that, im wanting something that will not only turn a decent respectable 1/4 mile, but will hang in the twisties, stop on a dime, run 160 mph (only on a track) do all this relieabley , and comffortabley with the AC on, because by no means do i want something that can do the aforementiond but i couldnt get in and take a cross country trip at the spur of a moment.
i have a pretty good idea as where to start at in makeing the power ,fuel system+bigger turbo with cooler denser air (bigger front mount/alkey injection) + tuneing etc..... but i guess what im asking are there certin peoples builds that i should pay close attention to, that have attempted to do the same thing im aming for? any help or ideas would be greatly appriciated.
