I'm going to put on some illuminas and a pro kit pretty soon and the question I have is,is it better to let the springs sag a bit, like a week or so before getting the allignment done or would it really matter.I would think after it does sag a bit it would screw up the specs that they just lined up?

Why would pay money for springs that you think will sag?

The reason that cars settle after you install new springs is because almost nobody loosens all the bushings and then retightens them with the weight on the wheels. DSMs came with vulcanized, sleeve-rubber-sleeve bushings; these must be allowed to rotate to the new static height.

Upshot: you can set the car to the new height immediately by loosening the bushings. Once you swap all those OE bushings for urethane, your car will change height immediately without additional work.
