Ok, I know this has been talked about very much, and i have been searching and searching and can't find my answer. I hear some people saying that they love their air fuel gauge and that it very useful, and I also here some people saying it is just a fancy LED light show that is completely worthless. Is this this guage actaully worth it to get, or is it just a waste of money as some people are saying? I dont really want to get on topic of wideband o2 gauges, becuase they tend to me more money then i can afford. So any input would be great.

They are not helpful at all in any form of tuning. Do some research on how a narrowband oxygen sensor works and you'll see why the gauge is worthless

Yep, if you're going to install an AF gauge install it right the first time, if you can't afford a wideband then don't waste money on a narrowband, it's really not going to tell you anything useful beyond what a datalogger can tell you.

The only thing i use my narrowband gauge for is matching it up with the a/f ratio that is displayed on my apexi auto timer. There are a few widebands on the market for a decent price. Check diyautotune.com for a do it yourself wideband.
