I am trying to think back on some of this stuff so bare with me 
It took about a year (Fall of 08 now) with my restricted budget to get all the parts I needed to start building the engine and the bolt ons. I kept it pretty modest. Built the bottem end up (Wisecos on H-beams, BSE) but went easy on the head (SS valves, bronze guides, stock springs/cams). I went with a Big 16G turbo,FMIC, and stock injectors for now just to get the car running because I knew I was close to turn key. I had to put in a new fuel pump because mine was seized so I bought the Wally 255hp and an AFPR. Tuning with a GM MAF-T, I got the car running in November and finally got to drive her around. Here are some pics of that time frame. I quickly found out there was some issues to address, like overboosting and fuel cut. I ended up porting out the turbo, buying a Hallman MBC, and some PTE 680s to give the fuel system some breathing time. This all became a rush to install when our local DSM Club organized a newly annual dyno day.
