? about older HKS cams

I just bought a set of HKS 272/272 cams from a local here, and i was wondering if HKS didnt start stamping "272" into their cams till later on. My cams say HKS but dont say 272 or anything on them. Anyone know?

mine are new and if you look closely on the cam, each one will have an engraving, i think M005 is a 272 intake and M006 is a 272 exhaust cam.

Mine do have M005 & M006 engraved into them. So they didnt stamp the actual 272 into in the first early years of production i guess. So the M005 = intake cam & M006 = exhaust cam ?

yeah you can verify this by going to the HKS website. I bought my cams new off ebay for dirt cheap and i wanted to make sure they weren't knock-offs.

I find that price insanely cheap. I sold my HKS 264/272 $500.

Is this condition good? I mean it maybe grind down if use abusively or incorrectly installs because cheap.

Nope i don't think the fp green were BB turbos. Last i heard they stopped making them. ??

Did you look on the tip of sides? I just noticed on mine it has a number and then it says 272 in small letters.
