so i have a 1995 gst eclipse and im looking to buy a flywheel and clutch set, seems like a newbie question, but do i have a 7 bolt crank?

also when driving on slick roads it feels like my back end is pushing or draggin along, its all ovet the road really, tires are new does the rear wheels have a toe adjustment? it almost feels like the rear wheels are turning LOL but on dry ground it drives straight and true.

the rear upper control arm..? the bushing you can see above the wheel when the car is on a lift is completely gone so it moves around a bit and clunks when i stop, where would i get that i cant seem to find a set.

you need to replace that control arm or fix the bushing i would say buy a whole new arm and as far as your flywheel question yes you have a 7 bolt crank as that is what came in the cars from mid 92 up through 99 enless you car has a 6 bolt swap but if you cant tell if its a 6 or 7 bolt when you pull the trans off then you need to get a different car because all you do is count the bolts holding the flywheel on LOL

the driving issue you are having is 100% related to that control arm too my gst both of them drove great in all weather besides snow wasnt that great but not bad for what it is

LOL well my friend said it was 6 bolt newer 7 older and im planning on ordering online so i want to get it before i start the work so i dont have my car down for a week

but thanks for the information :)

From your other thread, you should not need a new flywheel. You will need to verify step height. If you buy a new flywheel you STILL have to measure it and cut if necessary. Your car originally came with a 7 bolt motor.
