what's up guys, I have 3 quick questions for you, I hope you could help me out a little bit by giving any helpful input.

1) I got these chrome wheels with the car, I'm not sure if they're stock but I never seen these with any 2Gs. 2 of them have the "mitsu" logo on them, but 2 of them not, there's glue on those though.
2) This is the HKS SSQV I got with the car. I'm not sure if it's recirculated or not, but that's a hose that connected to the BOV and the intake manifold (pointed with the white arrows). If it's recirculated, why it's still making a damn loud BOV sound? I heard venting is bad for my car, but I have no problem whatsoever, so I'm wondering if it's recir' or not.
3) For all spyder owners, this is the top and the rear glass. I found out that some velcro fasteners were used to hold the top to the glass, but the velcros always come off because they're not sticky anymore. I'm wondering if this is the OEM way of holding the top, as velcros look cheap for me, isn't it a proper way to do that? I never had a convertible before so I'm not sure if I should buy some velcros to fix it or that's a better way.

I'd appreciate if you could give me some helps. Thanks!!

Those wheels are not stock... Someone probably just glues a mitsu badge on them, or off another Mitsu?? not sure
The HKS is not recirculated in the pic
Not sure about the top :)... not a spyder owner

Thanks for the reply. Any know what wheels are they? they have the same size and dimensions as the stock ones, and I'm not sure why they put the mitsu badges on them. I like the wheels though. For the HKS, should I order one of those recirculation kit? (~$39), they have no bad effect whatsoever on my car now, will the kit improve my mpg and horsepower as no venting = not running rich with unburnt gas. This is the pic of our stock ride, for now ;)

Yes you are better off buying the recirc kit for the HKS. It may not "seem" like there are any problems, but recircing is always better.

I really want to try recir' the bov because I always smell gas (very strong) coming from the engine or exhaust. I think it could be the unburnt gas, but I still getting good mpg, ~27 highway mpg. The cheapest recir' kit I found was like $48 shipped, do anyone know if I could just buy the recir' insert kit for $12, and go to homedepot to buy a 1" ID hose, or do I need something else? I think $48 is a bit steep as I'm not sure if it helps a lot.

Also, anyone with a spyder know how to fix the soft top from coming off from the glass?

Thanks for you guys who provided useful advises.

just buy the 12bux one, u don't even need to buy a hose. it's not perfect fit, and the stock hose is bigger, but u can just use the stock hose. trust me, it works and still working.

those rims are different from mine if you look closely, I like my rims better. As I said, I never seen any mitsu with those rims yet, but they're probably not stock. And dmak thanks for the advise. I actually looked at the bov today and decided to go with the insert as I saw the hose and thought it'd fit. Can any Spyder owner give me some input on the top thing? I'd appreciate it as all of my questions were answered by the nice members here except what I should use to fix the top..velcros?

Thanks.
