A/C compressor leaking

Ok tonight I finally decided to check out my A/C system to see what the deal was.

I went ahead and replaced all the orings in all the lines and at the condensor.

I pressurized the low side with 60psi of compressed air and sprayed soapy water over everything. Well low and behold the compressor is leaking where the block bolts to the top of the compressor.

The block I am referring to is the block where the fittings are, it uses 4 cap head bolts to bolt it down from what I can tell.

Has anyone on here had experience with repairing this seal or would I be better off putting a compressor on the car?? I can get a compressor cheap but I dont feel like taking 2 off.

id say pin point were it exactly is leaking and weld it or replaceit..... i got tired of it and took all that crap out.......

Did you make sure to oil the o rings before installing them? The A/c system takes a certain amount of a/c oil in the system. I'm not sure what that amount is off the top of my head.

Try adding that die charge with the sealer in it. It's worth the money to try it if you don't want to go to replacing it right away. run the charge low with the sealant at first then add to it and check for leaks after a few drive cycles.

I also removed mine windows down is good enough for me. It's just a pain rolling up and down both my myself especially if I'm driving and it starts raining.

Foggy windows can also be a killer sometimes you have to blast the heat and it sucks when it's 80* out and you have to blast the heat to de fog your windows. But that anti fog glass cleaner is the ish..

Guessing you guys did not thoroughly read my post. Nothing wrong with the o-rings and yes I oiled them with some PAG 100.

The discharge block on the top of the compressor is leaking and I was wondering if anyone had any luck replacing the discharge block seal.

Also I have a 3 yr old son so A/C is a must.

Is that the high pressure release valve that blew out? I had that happen on my GVR-4 recently. It was due to overcharge and an overheating situation. I don't believe that the GVR-4 uses the same compressor as a DSM though.

Let me know and if it is the same situation, I'll let you know what I did to remedy this.
