'99 Eclipse GSX starting over

'99 Eclipse GSX, starting over....

In the process of getting my '99 GSX back on the road. Its been a long time (2005 perhaps) since it has run. Started a rebuild and 6 bolt swap back then, never finished it. Finally got the time and funds to get someone on it. Got it to turn over, going today to get a battery in it and load the injector settings in dsmlink and see how that goes. Hoping to have it road ready soon but still working on a list of items that need fixed / replaced.

Car is running, everything looks to be in better shape then I expected.

So exciting finally hearing it running again. Have a few water hoses and vacuum lines to replace, rotors and pads, wiper blades and should be able to get it past inspection.

Car is finally running and home. Set base FP. Did a boost leak test and fixed what I found. Need to fix a exhaust leak at the turbo/dp flange. Have some new silicone hose on the way to replace all the old lines. Seems to be driving decent now, will need to do another boost leak test when the new lines arrive.

Needed to replace the O2 sensor, and Knock Sensor after doing a few test drives. Got an oil change out of the way, everything looked good there.
Did my boost leak test and found my greddy bov leaking out the lower hole and some bubbles around the TB when I covered that up.
Ordered a new diaphragm for the BOV, mine was torn down around the bottom, looked like dry rot / fraying.
Waiting for that to arrive then redo the boost leak test.

Super cool to see an original owner still giving their car some love! Keep it up.

The Greddy Type R diaphragm took forever to come in and didn't arrive until I went on vacation. Spent the last 2 weeks doing a little work in the evenings.

I was able to get my dsmlink upgraded to ECMLINK V3, FIC 1650 High Z injectors, LC2 wideband O2, JM Fab Oil Catch Can, Fuelab 818 fuel filter installed.
Had a few leaks after moving the hoses around so had to replace a few of those. Replaced the old vacuum lines.

Boost leak test was good.

Changed to a SD setup. Removed the MAF and have a FP Aluminum Intake Pipe and K&N filter in now. Got the idle tune in completed last night.
