98 GS-T front end MUNCH ouch.

Well I slid into a Suburban today now my front end is all messed up I need a minimum of body parts like a front bumper cover & a front radiator core support & a driver side fender & headlight & of course a hood & at least one radiator fan.This really sucks no doubt.

Got pic's just need to down load & the other guy didn't have Auto insurance.But it just tweaked his front bumper.But they towed it away where I was able to drive home.

Man that sucks to hear, are you ok? Are you doing all the work yourself or going through insurance? If you go through Insurance I'd reccomend midtown auto body they did my car. They do good work.

Looks like I will be paying out of pocket to fix my GS-T but that will have to wait until after I move I only have liability on my GS-T but I have full coverage on the Equinox Sport.By the way it looks like I just might have to get my 80 Z/28 Camaro running first because it won't cost as much I'm sure.To get it running anyways.

But don't go to mid town auto body, they stole subs out of my freind's XB and they didn't even tell him that they were "missing" until he went to pick up his car!
The manager of the place told him it isn't his responsibility, if something comes up missing out of the cars that they work on.

What was the circumstances of this and when did it happen? I know the owner and the manager of midtown and that's not the way they do business. The busIness Insurance would cover it. And under a certain dollar amount they just replace the stuff by buying it for you.

The way it went down was like this.
My freind took his Scion Xb to them cause he messed up the front bumper.
They told him it was going to be done on X date.
Two weeks after the Date they said it was going to be done, he called to see what was going on, they said we are waiting for your window to come in.
He asked "what are you talking about, all I had done was the front bumper, what is wrong with my window?"
They say well I guess it is a good time to tell you, that your car was broken into and your speakers were stolen.
He asks for them to compensate,because he had this box custom built in WA and paid shipping (he had some money into it)
The owner or the manager I'm not sure, told him it was stolen and he should of not left them in the car.
After a long fight with them, all he could do was get Geico to pay him like a quarter of what is was worth and took Mid town off Geico's list.
The thing is everything was neatly unhooked and removed with out a scratch done to the interior.
Here is what was stolen...
It definitely wouldn't of been easy to just steal it.
Even if they didn't do it they should of paid him back for what was "stolen" from their yard.

Where is a good body shop in the valley? I am moving to Big Lake & was wondering which place would be the best place to get my GS-T fixed since I'll be paying out my own pocket for the body repairs.

Top of the world auto body has fixed my car 3 times and I thought they did a really good job. They're located on Palmer/Wasilla, right across the AT&T sports center. Its about half a mile before Three Bears or where Trunk Road intersects Palmer/Wasilla

Well my GS-T is now in the body shop getting the front end replaced can't wait to have it back on the road again no doubt & maybe I'll get it tuned since now the roads are nice & dry.
