I have 1998 Eclipse GST with about 135000 miles and just last week I replaced the Crankshaft position sensor. 2 days after picking up the car my transmission started to act up. The RPM's shoot up but the car does not go anywhere. The check engine light came on today and I got that checked and code it came up with is P1750 (Manufacture Control Transmission). Trying to figure out what my next steps should be? Could the crankshaft sensor installation cause this? Please let me know.

Thanks!

The cam sensor won't do that. It's the transmission solenoids inside the tranny my tsi awd had the same problem on my third rebuild never changed these and now all of a sudden my car won't move at all. Started out just actin a LOL funny not shifting right slipping between gears then it got really interesting just before it stopped moving it would shift so hard I broke the front mounting bolts off my seat but chirped second and third on it's final ride at wot. Ipttransmission.com has the parts you need for 225.00 and a video in the valve body replacement section that shows you exactly how to get em out along with a step by step reinstall part in the video. I plan to change mine with the tranny still in the car.
