95 vs 97 eclipse

Hey guys i am a noob to eclipses but here goes, my sister has a 97 gs and i need to get some parts for it. i know someone that has a 95, how will these parts match up? i am talking about doors, body moldings, interior moldings, stuff like that? appreciate the help.

Everything is the same except the front and rear bumper, headlights, and sideskirts.

the car yout sister has the 97 is a 2gb. The 95 is a 2ga which have many different parts. Front headlights/bumper are different as well as the rear tailights and bumper. I believe the sideskirts are also. Just search a 2ga to 2gb conversion and it will list all the different parts. Most of the other stuff is the same.

thanks, thats good to know, i think my sis needed one of the side skirts so i wont waste my money on that one.

Bah.. i was thinking of the talon to eclipse conversion.. my bad.

the 95 has 2 half crecent the reverse lights inside the license plate mounting area instead of 2 circles wide apart on the bumper.


if this helps any, i have a 96 rs, and the center console is not the same as my friends 99 gsx, his has a cover that opens up, mine just has a cupholder and a small coin area

That's because your car is a base model, they didn't come with armrests.

i think i might try and get the door off her 95 for my sis 97, how will those match up? is replacing the whole door any easier than replacing the door handle and mechanism and window motor / regulator?

Replacing the door handle is easy. I did mine in about a half hour or so. Not sure about the window stuff though..

alright, yeah the window i have heard is gonna take a few hours. what parts should i need to fix the door handle?
