Well I picked up another Talon Tsi, the first one was a red 97 TSi and this one is a 95. I picked the car up for right around 2k till it was all said and done. I haven't done a carfax or anything on the car but the title is a VA title, body has 113,xxx on it and is in great shape for a 95. There is only one spot of rust on the whole car and that is a small spot on the passenger shock tower. The car is 6 bolt swapped, 20g turbo, dsmlink v2, 255lph pump, 550 injectors, greddy large front mount, 19" tsw wheels, greddy turbo timer, arp headstuds, tubular mani, full 3" exhaust, and it came with a full truck bed full of extras...heads, front & rear bumpers, headlights, taillights, just a ton of spare parts. I also have that 97 TSi for any spare bolts or anything I need along the way. The guy who had it from Virginia must have been into stereo equipment and wire's cause he had stuff just everywhere, it took me the better part of a day to clean up the underdash, pillar gauge, and stereo wiring. I'll be starting at the bottom and working my way up with the build, saving the engine and driveline for last.

My goal for this project is going to be around 600hp in case anyone is wondering.

So far I have pulled the engine & harness, all interior except dash, removed all sound deadning from floor pans, cleaned up all interior wiring, removed drive shaft. I need to pull the front and rear crossmember's for the solid bushings, all other suspension components will be prothane or total control. I'm also still debating on a 8pt roll cage to the list of interior mods. Anyways here are some pics of when I got it and some of the work i've done so far, hope u guys enjoy.

There are some of the pictures, I need to get the rest of them off of my digital camera. Let me know what u guys think.

Holy hell that wiring is a mess....good luck on straightening everything out. Also, is that red paint on the inside of the throttle or intercooler piping? It seems that the PO painted the fuel rail and some other things with red spraypaint?

Yeah it sure was, luckily I have the spare parts car I'll be robbing the engine wiring harness from. Yeah he did seem to be a bit spray paint happy. It's alright though, most of the stuff he did wrong can easily be fixed or replaced. Tomorrow hopefully I get some time to remove the sub frames that way I can get the whole underside of the car undercoated and everything cleaned up.

Just a small update, I ordered the STM tank to rail fuel kit, walbro 400lph fuel pump, a full energy suspension bushing kit. I still need to order subframe bushings, but I haven't decided on solid ones or not. As soon as I get these parts in the mail I will have some more progress pics.

Well, I ordered everything on the 6th and I'm still waiting on the fuel pump and bushing kit. I got the filter, hose, fittings, and pump rewire kit so far though. I believe I'll go through another vendor for the rest of my parts though, I am very unhappy with the service from the company I ordered from.
