95 gs random stalling and engine sputter while driving

My 95 eclipse gs randomly stalls when coming to a stop or idling. And when im driving it'll randomly jerk forward for a second like it momentarily stalled but fired again and when this happens the check engine light will flash for a split second. Could this be the crank sensor or is it my ecu? The ecu was recently replaced though..although it still could be faulty. Any help would be great i want to fix this before i sell my car.

Have you checked the codes? I would start there. With the 95, you are able to do the key dance and count the cel flashes to get the codes.

Have you looked at this from an electrical standpoint? It sounds more like a charging/battery/connection issue to me. Is this car a manual transmission or automatic transmission? If it is an auto, you could have having solenoid issues with the converter locking or something along those lines.

Does this problem get any worse if you have all your lights on / blower motor / radio at the same time when coming to a stop?

Car is manual. Tonight the car just stopped accelerating everything stayed on and the car stayed running for about 20 seconds then died. Started right back up. This car is cursed i swear..theres always something and i baby this car so much.
