Hey guys im getting a great deal on some 3rd gen RX-7 wheels, for 200$ with brand new OEM tires, and i just need to know which spacers ill need to buy, a link would be greatly appreciated. 5mm, 10mm, im just a little confused.

Please post the wheel dimensions including offset and the tire size you intend to use.

3rd Gen RX-7s had 16x8 +50 wheels. To run 245/45/16s (which is what most DSMers put on them), you need a 10mm or 15mm spacer, depending on the tire. Therefore, you also want to do a search for H&R wheel spacers. They make a nice (and maybe the only) hubcentric system for our cars. Expect to pay close to $150 plus labor to get these wheels on a DSM. Some people say it's worth it; others don't. You don't see 14.5# 16x8s very often; at least, not without paying through the nose.

i run these rims and i like them alot.

in order to run a 245 wide tire you would have to run a 15mm spacer and grind some of the control arm away in the rear.

i run a 225/50/16 on my awd and i run a 10mm spacer with grinding of the rear control arm.

if you run a 15mm spacer i would buy longer studs from rre.

i just used some cheap spacers off ebay and they seem to do a good job.

also running a 15mm spacer your wheels will stick out a little bit from the fender. if you run a 10mm spacer the front wheel will be perfect with the fender and the rear will still be tucked away a TINY bit....

if you plan on getting them painted as i did get the proper lug nuts for them. i use the stock ones. they work good but they will scrape up the font of the rim and leave a mark. so basically i have to get them repainted and then get the proper lug nuts to keep them looking perfect again...
