93 Gs W/ GST motor ?

I recently got into some things w/my insurance.....well i have to get a car that is low on insurance payments but somehtig i can make fast. i can buy a 93 gs eclipse 5spd.i was wondering what all would i have to do to get my old gst engine into it ? do i need any wiring done ? can i use my axles and tranny ? are the mount son my engine the same as the GST engine ? i've done a fw searches but my question really hasnt been fully answered. im just tryin to find out stuff since i cant afford insuranc eon a gst no more thought i should drop it into a Gs/Rs. i would really appreciate the help. thanks

For the 1st gen DSM, the 2.0 n\t engine is the 4g63 n\t motor. The only difference is in the pistons, cams, and lack of oil squirters. In my opinion the n\t motor without the oil squirters is the way to go. Build that puppy up.

wow thats crazy, im acutally doing the same exact thing. I have a 93 gs also but im putting a 6bolt out of a 92 talon into it. i bought this rebuild kit http://www.importperformanceparts.net/imports/pek-mitsubishi.html ive also purchased an evobig16g ported with an external manifold gate, the new sbr evo headers with the wastegate flange, evo3 02 housing. Sent my head out to las vegas to get builtand ported, im running an safc2 for my piggy back, aem wideband, ebc,ect. so far eveything has gone smooth so if i run into any problems ill let you know before you have them.
