92-94 Headlight Coversion

Whats is need and can it be done. Only reason im doing this is because i cant find a hood for a 1990 laser,eclipse,talon no where if you can find me one then I guess there is no need for the 92-94 conversion. Please help me out.

Did you try the junkyard? Or just get a carbon fiber hood I think it will be cheaper than the conversion..

EWWWWWWW 92-94 headlights..

But get a CF one for like 400$ and you don't have to worry about getting a used one w/ oxidization or having to paint it your color..

I have done the conversion, it isn't hard at all. However there will be a lot more work for this than just finding a hood. I strongly recommend however it is not necessary to replace the brackets that deal with holding the fender and headlights of the 92-94 style parts up. They are just a tad different than 1ga. I found a donor car and drilled all the spot welds and then drilled all my existing welds. When installing the new pieces off of the 92-94 instead of just tacking welding them like before, I used bolts that way there was a little adjustment for fine tuning the head lights and fender. You can see in the pic the new brackets were off of a silver car. Good luck
