92 7 bolt

I have a 92 tsi that was made in april, and im pretty sure it has a 7 bolt, so i want to swap it to a 6 bolt. How would i do that with out doing a complete engine swap ??????

1g 7 bolts are fine.no need to change it unless you blow it up.

so wut you are sayin is that the 1g 7 bolts wont crankwalk like the 2g's??

1st gen 7bolts crankwalk in extremely rare cases. I wouldnt swap it out unless it blows

Here we go again with the crankwalk.

It won't do it. Most people that blow up 7 bolts just automatically blame it on crankwalk. Then you get the e-mechanics that diagnose everything with crankwalk and 90% of these people never check crank endplay.

If you are really worried then buy a 6 bolt and slowy build it up.
