91 talon accelerating problem

i have no idea what the solution is. all i know is that about two weeks ago, the acceleration went down the drain. you have to floor it to get up to 5 miles an hour just to make it past an intersection. once you reach about 15 to 20, the acceleration is almost normal. what could the problem be. i need help. thanks in advance.

Well, what have checked so far? Anything?

Is it a misfire?
Any check engine light?
You say you get up to 15-20 mph, and its almost normal. Is it completely normal after that speed or just a little better?

Did you check if your air filter is clogged up?

there is no misfire, around 30 it is completly normal, air filter is about 3 weeks old. im thinking it may be stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear till about 30. im not sure. wednesday im gonna check with my local tranny shop owner, who is also my teacher. until then, it will be parked till fixed or sold.

Sounds like a bad MAF to me......
