90 throttle body on a 91

I know the popular mod is to put a 91-94 on a 90, but I have a bad 91 throttle body and a cherry new 90 throttle body. I know you can cut the wiring for the 90 TPS and wire it into the 91 TPS, is the inverse true? Could I cut the wiring for my 91 TPS and wire in the 90?

And if possible, is there anything else stopping me from making the swap?

You're in luck. It's a straight bolt on besides the wire TPS wire modification. The 91+ TPS doesn't fit the 90 TB unfortunately.

Instead of splicing, you could cut your 91 TPS connector off, snatch a 1G/2G radiator fan connector (opposite engine harness), and solder onto your 91 engine side harness. This connector matches the 90 TPS connector.

Bam, now removable.

Thanks man, that's a great idea. Even if I don't do that originally, I'll definitely pick up a connector once I get a chance. Guess I'll give this TB a shot then.
