What happened to your first engine swordfish?

The first engine popped 14 hours after I bought the car. It was great
This is the same 7 bolt block but with some work. This 7 bolt lasted about 6 months of life at370whp and about 12months at 450+ whp. I didnt have the money to build a 6 bolt at the time so BJ told me he would do the 7 bolt as best he could to get it to last. I think he did great job working around the inherent problems of the 7 bolt. I was really suprised it lasted as long as it did at those hp levels.

When you say "popped" what do you mean? It crankwalked? I think if my engine broke 14 hours after I bought a car I would be all done. Cool website by the way, lots of interesting stuff on there.

Yeah popped = crankwalk. Sometimes I like to just go outside and give my car the finger and then go back in the house.

Some of the stuff on the website is getting a little dated. I need to get some pictures of the new FP TD05H based turbo on there but havent yet. New cam pics arent up yet, new injectors, new dsmlink, and crap like that.

yes his car was stock, he was about to start modding it this summer
