Resolved 90 cruise control box same as 92?

hey i have a 1990 laser with cruise and i was wondering if the box and cables were the same as a 1992>. i have a 2.5inch upper pipe that i got from a friend but it dont fit becuase of that cruise control box, so i was wondering if i could route it like the 1gb on the firewall.

if anyone could help its much appreciated

Out of the 5 1G's Ive had the cruise hasnt worked on one of them. No a 91-94 style cruise control box will not work on a 90 the wiring wont work. Simply get a non cruise cable from a 1.8l 1g dsm and yours set.
