I have a walbro 255 fuel pump and i wanna buy 660cc injectors and a fuel pressure reglulater for my GS-T. I was wondering if i should get High Impedence or low impedence and what brand i should get. What do u guys think will do best for my applications? If anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Later :D

i checked out RRE and it helped me a lot.. but with installing 660cc injectors will i need a fuel rail with a fuel pressure gauge to go along with the fuel pressure regulator?! I already have a SAFC so will i even need a fuel pressure regulator to control the pressure of the gas?? also i will be running on the stock turbo when i install this mods for a little while intill i build up some cash.. will that be ok or will it just hurt my power and 1/4 mile times?

On RRE it has 660cc "denso's" are those better then the RC/LUCAS ones?!

You need low impendence.

Denso 660's will flow 690cc at the stock 2G base fuel pressure. I have Denso's and love them. I've also had RC. Both are excellent.

You need a fuel pressure regulator when you have a high flowing fuel pump that overruns the stock regulator <i.e. a hardwired 255>. Yes you will also need a fuel pressure gauge when you install the regulator, otherwise how will you know what your base is? Also you do not need a larger fuel rail. As far as hurting you, going with a large injector on a small turbo can cause an extrememly aggressive timing advance due to the low IPW / DC, which in turn might cause lots of knock, but proper compensation and tuning should help with that.

Yeah im gonna go with the denso's 660cc...

Will fuel regulator and gauge bolt right up to the stock fuel rail?

whats a good brand?!

Also to not have a lot of knock i will get my car retunned with the SAFC :D

There are a couple different fuel pressure regulators that bolt up to the stock rail. The one buschur sells bolts up and has a gauge that bolts into the line on top of your fuel filter. The problem I had with the one buschur reg is some of my wires were getting cut into and arching against the reg. However, if you relocated your coil pack then that shouldn't be a problem. The other "issue" I had was with the gauge that came with the Buschur regulator. Maybe it was that I was expecting something different but I considered the gauge to be a little dinky. Its a B&M gauge if I remember correctly and maybe slightly larger than a quarter, dont get me wrong it works but I figured for the price something a little more. The only one i have had experience with is the one from Full Throttle Speed and Style. That one does not come with a guage but you can make one relatively cheap or buy one. The only "problem" that I seemed to have was I needed to shave a little bit of the rail down on top for the nut on the bolt to mount flushly, but if you dont mind it being cocked a little it will go together fine. I dont know as much about the 2gs <refering to the T-25>, I know it flows less than the stock 14b on the 1g. My comment about the careful of knock was just so that you watched your logger. Even compensating for the air with the S-AFC if you are only flowing enough air to make the injectors work at say 50% DC the ECU will advance the timing thinking that it can handle it all day long. Understand what I'm saying? Maybe that doesn't really become an issue until one tries to throw maybe a set of 880s in a stock car, I'm not 100%, I do just remember a friend of mine having timing advance problems with his PTE 680s on the 14b turbo. Best of luck with them and Happy Tuning! :thumb:
