The dyno numbers prove it alex. 12 ponies just for an intake. For catback you get 5 hp. Maybe with a downpipe.

Haha. This is hilarious seeing you guys go at it. I gotta agree, just a cone filter alone will make a world of difference in throttle response and spool up. The downpipe and catback will be felt more noticeable at freeway speeds when your pushing the car hard, and need less backpressure.

just for one of those damn things i can buy off ebay. hah why would anyone pay 200 bucks for name brand.

Yeah, ebay is good at times. Depending on the vendor and service you can get parts way cheap. Next you should look into getting a boost gauge. Stock should read about 9ish, but that's only because our stock bypass valve leaks at that pressure. With a new BOV or a 1g BOV that are capable of holding more pressure, boost should automatically raise to about 12ish.

Get an ebay intake and a K&N air filter(million mile warranty) and slap an injen stick on it. Around 80-100 bucks compared to 200-350 for brand name inatkes that have the same results. Dang I still need to get an MBC.

haha, damn i hate to say it but i cleared my p1005 or p1105 code and it popped up again to day. im going to autozone to write down the code this time. for some reason im not trusting myself in the number im stating. man i drove alot this week. julian, pb, vista, oside, chulavista. saw some eclipses. i saw a white eclipse with a red eclipse sticker on the triangle glass when i was coming back from julian (I went fishing after work). man i got to get some tint for this leather asap. i went to vista to pick up my viper alarm. i think my friend and i are goin gto put it in saturday next week. OH another thing on the code. when it states the code it says pending next to it. what does that mean.

Oh shit you actually got the gs-t. Nice ride. Which one is yours? I would recommend a GSX but thats just me. But the only FWD car I like is the gs-t. Sweet.

I don't mind FWD, dealt with it for a long time with my MX6. Plus no GSX convertibles

I just bought a 95 GSX about 2 weeks ago and Im just learning things about it. Does anyone hold any meets in San Diego and if so where?

At 10 on Sunday nights? Damn thats late, no one goes to Fuzion on tueday nights?

Fuzion is on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Somewhere near Cheetahs or something. Last time there was just a bunch of Scions out there. Gavin was suppose to roll up there this Tuesday. (He met some kids at the junk yard with a couple mark III's). Tuesdays are out of the question for me. You guys have fun. But I'm always down to meet up on weekends anytime. (Just kinda boring if nobody else goes).

I'm busy workin week nights too. Hey does anyone know how much it will cost to replace the piston rings? I know it will be a bi*** to do it myself. Know anyone who can do it cheap? Well first I got to see if i got blowby from the compression test and boost leak test. I bet I do. Replaced the damn pcv valve twice.

Gimmemoeboost, Yeah ill try and make it out there atleast once, hell maybe this weekend. Where exactly is this In&Out you talking about. Im located near MCAS Miramar. So yeah hit me up with that info.
