Previous owner did a 6-bolt swap in my 2g, but didnt bother to re-install the a/c. What parts do I need to get the a/c going again in my car? I've already sourced an entire a/c system from another 2g.
Cheers

You'll need the compressor (which bolts to the back of the block), the lower A/C line (which runs from the compressor to the firewall near the battery and charcoal canister), the upper A/C line (which runs from the compressor, near the upper timing belt cover to the condenser), the condenser (which sits in front of the radiator), the belt tensioner (which bolts to the compressor/block area), a belt (I used a 2G belt), and the hard lines (which should still be there). You will also need some o-rings for the ends of the lines. I'm still trying to figure out what I need for these... Your compressor might also need some oil.

There is some good info on this page that should help you out as well - http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258361&page=2

I think that should be it. If I missed something, someone please chime in.

Thanks for the help!
Do I need a 6-bolt compressor or can I use the 7-bolt compressor?
More importantly, do I need a 1g or 2g compressor bracket that mounts to the block?
As of now, Im under the impression they're all the same
Cheers

Summer has been unusually cold, got upto 32C (90F)
How cold does it get there? I remember being in Indianapolis when a 1/4 inch of snow fell. The whole city shut down! LOL. Funniest thing I ever saw in my life

Is there a difference between the 2g and 1g compressor bracket?
CAPS is being difficult with me right now

I'm having trouble with the ac bracket for my 6-bolt, it has a 2nd gen gen head. Now when I compare the two they don't mount up the same. It also looks like my 91' ac bracket compressor holes are spaced farther apart than the 95. two different compressors? or same?

basically I hear use a 6-bolt block with a 2nd gen ac bracket to retain the comp. but no matter what the holes don't line up
