2G 6 Bolt / Cyclone Intake, 1g Head Swap

I picked up a 6bolt for my 2g about 2 weeks ago. My first time rebuilding an engine yet alone first 6bolt. The cyclone intake has me the most lost on how to get it to work, something about an actuator? I'm not to sure, any insight would be helpful
