Hello:
I've heard about swapping a F4A33 from a FWD Auto 3000GT/Stealth to a FWD turbo 2G.

I was wondering if it were possible to swap in the 6-speed AWD trans from a 3000GT to a 2G AWD?

I am guessing that the bolt pattern would be the same between the FWD and AWD trans. And I know for sure that the bolt pattern is the same between the FWD and AWD 4G63's.

Besides this, I'm pretty sure you would need to find a new way to get the T-case up, new drive shaft, center diff, and more likely, new gearing for the rear end.

Just a thought.

he wants the 4g63 with the 6spd. its almost point less b/c there are a few companies that make killer gears for drag or road coarse. depending on what you want. and either can be had for probalby less than what this would and the hassel would def not be there. not to mention that its hard enough for the 3kgt people to find those trannys and most probably know people that know people that can get them. very rare parts which would just add up the cost.

Keep your 2g AWd trans, you dont want to shift more going down the 1/4

What you could do tho is have TRE put their 25% taller 5th gear into your tranny, I think its good for 208mph.
