3 rotors hot, 1 rotor cold!

hey guys, came home for a long drive, lots of braking etc.. stop and go on the highway.

anyways i get home, check the calipers for some reason, beats me why exactly.
three are warm when u put your hand near and are hot to touch, (sprayed water) BUT 1 is cold, like its not even getting friction, like its cold to touch, no heat what-so-ever?
is this caliper seized or any other ideas??

front or rear? if a front one was frozen the car would pull to one side when you brake.

Jack up the end of the car that lone rotor is on, have somebody apply the brakes and try turning that tire...

Could be that the pitsons have seized up in the caliper.

None the less, thats deff. strange.

could be air in the lines or the bleeder valve

Is there any way to 'un-seize' a piston in a caliper? I don't have the money for a new caliper right now, but my rear passenger caliper is the exact opposite: It rubs the piss out of the rotor, even when brakes aren't applied (yes i bled that caliper already and it did not help)

Typically the calipers get stuck when corrosion develops on the piston and cylinder surfaces. I've found that you can usually get the piston out of the caliper even though it's stuck. Then hone the cylinder and polish the piston. Put it back together and bleed the system. This is oversimplified of course.

Yeah, its a real PITA. I was going to take mine apart when i did the new SS brake lines, and one of the pistons was stuck in the caliper. I would sugg. maybe getting new rubber sleeves for the caliper as well, cause you will probly ruin the old one trying to get the piston out.
