I was wondering if a 3" intake would be to big for the T25? Also, would it be good to get one now for turbo upgrades later?

Do you mean for a CAI? Or an Inlet pipe?

If you mean Inlet pipe I would say 3" is way too big, but you can purchase it and see if someone can fab something like 2.5" bend until you upgrade later to a larger trim.

I meant the actual pipe going from the MAS to the turbo.
That is the turbo inlet pipe....and I think 3" would be overkill for the T25. :dsm:

and yes, it would be good to get one for future upgrades due to the fact you are going from a plastic/rubber to actual metal. Like I said originally you can purchase a 3" from Injen or whoever and just find someone to fabricate a 2.5" bend so you can just cut or take it off later when you upgrade to a larger trim.

A K&N FPIK, the MAS, the 3" inlet AND a coupler most likely will not fit. Don't those FPIK's barely fit as it is?

Very good point, I had to shorten my 3" intake pipe for about 1 1/2" and it barely fitted.

I'll just get the 2 3/4" dejon intake pipe. They say it bearly clears the 16g just in case I want to upgrade to the EVO III turbo later.
