2gmas on 1g, upper intercooler pipe doesn't fit?

Ok so I just swapped in the 2g mas and Dejon intake on my 1g and the stock upper intercooler pipe doesn't fit, nor does my aftermarket pipe I have, I'm wondering if the 2g upper intercooler pipe would work or if the engine bay is radically different,. or if you guys had any suggestions or have done this swap.

Are you using an intake pipe for a 2g or a 1g? I have the Dejon 1g intake with a 2g mas and it cleared my stock ic pipes as well as my aftermarket ic pipes (short route).

Josh I have a Dejon upper IC pipe that takes the GM MAF. I have to say it takes some muscle to get it onto the IC nipple as it appears to be "half a nipple short". i dread the couple times I had to take it off but once it's on it stays there. Mark

I have a 2G mas on my car. You have to get a 2G mas to 1G intake to make it fit. My Buschur UICP fits thru the FIPK with the intake but it takes some pushing on the filter.
