Ok, i've searched and im coming up with 2gb bumper swaps.

I got my self a 99 longblock to hold me over till i get mine rebuilt. Anyways, needs timing parts, water pump etc. What timing belt ajuster should i get , my 95 one or the 99 one? the bracket is the same, looks like they bolt the same but maybe not, I dont know.

another question is i know the 95 head doest have the cas on it, i can ether remove the cap on the old head and swap it to the 99 head. or would just getting the RRE harness and a 1g cas be better? other then that every thing should bolt up.

any other input would be greatfull.

Thanks.

They are the same excpet the 99 has a split thrust main bearing, which was the provision to eliminate crank walk you're better off with a built 99 7 bolt block.

and for the 2nd question just pu a plug in from your 95 where the cas goes and put your cas on the front of the head it still has the thread on it for you to bolt up your cas.

as for the adjuster, there diff for the early 95 blocks, thats why i asked. after mid 95 there all the same till 99.

thanks, and thats why i went after the 99 block heh, my 95 7bolt will get new bearings as a spare, then this monster will get scat rods/ross pistons and maybe a FPgreen by then :thumb:
