2GA wing material.

What is the 2ga wing made of? I am assuming fiberglass. Also, anyone know if it is hollow?

The reason I ask is because I ambout to be swapping the eclipse to a talon.

And the wing on my Saturn SC1 Likes to flop around at higher speeds. I was thinking of shaving the out side wing pieces (the bits that mount on the fenders) and mounting all 3 pieces on the Saturn's Trunk Lid.

The Saturns Trunk lid measures 52 inches.

The wing measures 43.5"
The wing tips measure 5"

I would need to shave about .75 inches from each end. Of course if they are hollow, I might as well shave .75 inches from the wing itself, and have all 3 pieces molded together.

I know the 2Ga Talon wings are hallow, I cant say for sure about the Eclipse one. I would assume so though, it would be kind of heavu if it were solid.
