Ok so i'm thinking about buying a set of 2ga eclipse foglights for my 2ga TSI, however they don't seem to fit right into the bumper. My fmic piping may be in the way but i can proboly find a way around that. i know that these foglights came off of an eclipse (i haven't bought them yet) what i would really like to know is: Are the 2ga eclipse foglights any different mountwise to the 2ga talon fogs? should these fit on my car? thanks guys. :D

Why is the thread labeled 1g? LOL

Anywho, yes they should bolt up the same as a set of Talon foglights. (x3 10MM bolts on the lower radiator support) I am not sure how well they will fit with the Talon bumper, but by the looks of things, they should fit ok. Your FMIC may prove to be a pain while trying to install them. I know many FMIC's dont allow us to retain the stock foggers. What FMIC kit do you have?

Hey thanks for the quick feedback. I proboly hit 1g on accident LOL. As for the frontmount it was on at purchase. The frontmount itself is 4" thick and the piping is 3". Sorry for any spelling errors. This is off my phone.

Your welcome. Man that thing sounds massive. How wide is it? If you look behind your bumper about where the fogs would go, you can see the three holes where the bolts for the foglight brackets would go into. If they are being blocked by your IC piping, fogs probably won't work. I will try to post a pic of where the fogs mount to the rad support. My bumper and everything behind it, is currently removed for a radiator support replacement.

I'm at work so I will have to get back to you about the width. I know it's like a full size intercooler though. Provided I can't get them Into stock location do you think I would be able to drill and mount on my own? Or would that lead to some major leveling Issues?

:hmm: I'm sure you could rig up some mounts for it. Leveling would be a pain for sure though. And I'm pretty sure they would stick out from how they are supposed be. There is only about half an inch of clearance between the fog light housing and the bracket.

Alright well we are pullin te motor within a few days due to rod knock so i'kl have plenty of time to figure it out. I'll let you know what happens Asap
