2ga bumper/skirt question

Hey guys, I have always wondered why some 2ga front/rear bumpers and sideskirts are completely body colored and why some 2ga bumpers and skirts have the dark grey bottom... and does anyone know where to find 2ga bumpers and skirts with the dark grey bottom other than junkyards? (no dsm's in any local junkyards i can find...

no im only talking about 2ga eclipse's....ive seen some 2g1 eclipse' with bumpers and skirts all one color, and some with the grey bottom....

is there a store that sells the 2ga bumpers ???

The GSXs usually came with the dark gray bottom.

Its a trim level/option thing.

Nearly all of the gsx's had the two-tone, most of the gst's, and some gs's had the two-tone paint with the body color up top, and the dark grey around the bottom.

ok, kool. hopefully i can find gsx 2-tone bumpers n skirts when it comes time to go 2ga

You can get that paint code and just paint it yourself, there is no physical differences.

turbo model 95-96 eclipses came two toned with logan silver at the bottom of the skirts and bumpers. this was exclusive to any and all turbo models with the exception of the 96 spyders, which were not available two toned at all. you can either have the paint mixed up (paint code A74) and have someone paint your panels for you, or you can just find a color that you like that is available in spray paint form and do it yourself.

You guys seem spot on.

Do it yourself and coat it with something tough to prevent rock chips and such while still getting that gray color you want.

maybe a light layer of "rhino-line"....

so it is just paint? i always thought the bottom looked like a raw plastic....

Yes, it is paint. I have a set of those side skirts, if you'd like a picture.

maybe it would be easier to paint it instead of looking for good bumpers/skirst allready painted........would look sick with logan silver painted evo wheels
