2G Throttle Body elbow Porting?

I took off my throttle body elbow today to see if there was any restrictions there. It turns out the the throttle body elbow and gastket are about 5mm in diameter smaller then the throttle body. I did a search to find out about porting this but to no avail. Has anybody done this or is it recomended to port match the throttle body elbow to the throttle body? Thanx.. TTY

Porting it out is good, but don't perfectly match it to the TB. Really the only thing it will change is top end power. With the way air travels you should leave a little step before it enters the TB. The happy medium between air velocity and air volume.

I don't plan on changing the TB at this time. Just seen the restrictions and thought it would be very easy to port the elbow for now .. I thought about leaving the gasket on the the elbow and making it bigger as well... Or is there a better option? TTY
