Hello,
Was looking for some insight, I've been building the car over the past year and essentially ran out of time before the snow came to get all of the gremlins out of it. Originally we tried to tune it after the enging was built by MAP but couldnt get the boost over 14psi so the tune was never finished. I do need to go back and have the car retuned as we have added a methanol kit to it but in the meantime i'm experiencing some issues and was wondering if someone may take a quick look and see if they notice anything that looks off.
- Boost leak test was completed twice, couldnt find anything. Originally the throttle body was leaking but has since been rebuilt and the whistle that was once there is gone.
-S90 Throttle body (Rebuilt) with FIAV Bypass. New ISC and TPS Sensors
- JMF Intake Manifold
- Walbro 400LPH rewired
- Fuelab AFPR
- 6AN return/8an Feed lines
- 1100 FIC Injectors
- 3G Lifters
- AF Wideband setup off of downpipe
- Tial 38mm External wastegate recirculated back with STM downpipe
- High flow 200 Cel Cat in downpipe. full 3" exhaust
- Balance shaft delete
- Bottom end and head built by MAP. BC springs and titanium retainers, Ferrea Valve guides, Supertech Valve seals, ARP Head Studs, BC Cams (268/272), Weisco Pistons, ACL Bearings, ARP main studs, Manley Turbotuff I beams
- Speed Density
Car seams to run fine when the idle is sitting high around 1500 rpm (even though its set for 900rpm), then randomly the car will drop down to the set idle of 900rpm and idle fine but when you step on the gas the car sputters and eventually will kick in. Boost is coming on but the car seems to hesitate, Fuel pressure on the gauge looks to be around 43 but A/F seams off with the Wideband. I've tried adjusting the B.I.S.S but haven;t had much luck
