2G Rota Problem

Well i finally installed my 16"Rota Slipstreams 225-50-16's and they look sweet but the thing is my ride got really crappy. Like when i go left or right it feels like my back side wants to drift off like it feels real woobly. I dont know what it is can you guys help...oh yea also my back tires rub really bad its eating my tires away i heard i need to grind it down but whats causing the woobly drive?Is it the lighter rims or what??

Also they needed to put spacers on all four sides...oh yea do i need an alighment is that what is causing this??Any help!!!!

They needed to put spacers on so the wrong wheels would go on. Sell those wheels and buy some that fit your car. 16" wheels and 225/50-16 tires should not rub on that car, and should not cause any loss in ride. If you have new tires, I would have the wheel shop replace them and then get the alignment done as a preventitive matter. I have sold many wheels, installed many wheels, bought wheels for my own cars, I would never use a spacer to make a wheel fit. You most likely have a vibration at higher speeds too. All the stress of holing the whel to the car is not placed at the top of the wheels stud, not the bottom at the hub like it should. My guess, the "wobble" you feel is the studs flexing under pressure. Like I said though, I have never used spacers or adapters to fit a wheel to a car so that would be a guess.

But i think the reason why they needed spacers was cause my car is extremely low the inside of the tire would almost hit so they threw on a small spacer so give some clearance not cause they were not made for my car....i bought them off a Dsm'er so i dont know

I don't agree with the spacer thing but, if the tires are rubbing you should think about going back to a narrower tire. I have noticed here ( in AZ ) that some highways are grooved and my car feels a little "loose" on them. On a blacktopped road it's fine. I have stock rims. I know for a fact the weight of the wheels will not cause this. Tire PSI, size, or condition may.

Hm do you think an alighment will help....well i am going to grind that back piece and osee what happends
