2G guys, I have a question.

Does your temp gauge tend to flux a bit. I niticed that my car tends to get a little hot on the freeway when I'm doing a steady speed. When I get on it a little it tends to cool off. Any ideas or is this normal. The temp never goes higher than the middle of the temp emblem.

My temp gauge goes up and down depending on my speed. When I am in higher rpm range it's around the middle of the emblem and goes down with the rpm's. I am almost postive that's how it is on all the 2g's.

Thanks. I used to drive a Honda Accord and if the temp gauge on that ever went above 1/4 there was some thing wrong.

It happens on mine but not often.
The oil gauge fluctuates sometimes tho during hard driving.

My temp gauge never fluctuates but my oil gauge is always fluctuating depending on how high the rpm's are.

My temp gauge stays rock solid once it's fully warmed up.

I don't know. It moves a bit... just a smalllllll bit now that its getting warmer out I guess? When it cold it stays in place 100% once warmed up.

That oil gauge is for pressure and will move when you give it gas.

That is a weak source to use for oil pressure, but whne you have stock gauges it is the only thing to use.


Most of you will learn this when you UPGRADE you turbo. You have to prime the engine a few times until you get the oil gauge (next to stock boost gauge) to move up. Then you can give it a go.

Well, i live in Tucson, AZ and when it was 60 out it didn't move but now that it's near 90 out side the temp gauge moves a bit.
