2G functional body kits

Hello to all, Kinda hurts that I have to post in the newb section as I've owned a dsm for over 15 years, but what can you do. I am curious about body kits for 2g's. Are there kits that actually function to increase air flow across brakes and the intercooler and provide downforce for our cars that are actually fast enough to benefit from it. Which have been tried and which have failed. Which ones just look plain silly. Input greatly appreciated.
