I have a 95 AWD with a jdm trans (RVR) , jdm flex plate and re-stalled hyper sport TC. I do not have the jdm starter plate though. I know you should't run without a starter plate but i was wondering, is there enough clearance between the TC and housing to get away with not using one?

If i use a AWD 2g plate the starter is too far and grinds, without the plate its fine ( test fitted before dropping motor in). I just dropped the motor in and the TC is all the way in but i didnt have to pull it forward to reach the Flexplate bolts this time. will it be ok without that pull forward ( about 1/16th of an inch on previous builds)?
