2G 2003 eclipse convertible help!!!

I need help with my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse top. I know about the Manuel switch and all that, and I have it set to use the motors. When I try to put the top back I hear the right motor turning and the right side starts to go back, however, the left side does not move and does not go back and actually keeps the right side from going back more than halfway, I don't know why, is the left motor seized up or something? Even when I switch it to Manuel, the left side still won't move and I don't want to force it and break the convertible frame or anything... Please help!!!
