2.5in 02 eliminator or normal downpipe

I'm looking for 2.5 in o2 eliminator downpipe but they are so damn expensive i was wondering if i should just get a normal downpipe without the o2 eliminator. What are the benefits of using an o2 eliminator? I still have the t25 but i plan to upgrade to a t28 eventually.

I would suggest staying with a normal DP for now. When you upgrade to the t28, then just port out the O2 housing or buy an aftermarket O2 housing.

REASONS 1. the 2.5in O2 elim may flow a little better but it's not going to make a significant difference over the ported O2 and downpipe. 2. Ease of installation. 3. with the O2 elim, you will have to drop the entire O2 elim when doing certain things to the car(dropping the oil pan is an example). It will be a PITA and if you search, you'll see some of the complaints. 4. If you're really worried about flow, then you can buy a stainless steal or mild steal O2 housing. They can be found cheap and with them and a 2.5 DP, it will flow just as much as the elim and you have less to worry about.
