2.3L strokers?

does anybody know where i can see the specs of these race engines becase my engine is going out due to the idle and i was thinking of getting a stroker so?......

All a 2.3-liter stroker motor is is a 4G63 short block with a 4G64 crank and custom stroker pistons ( JE or Wiseco ). The stock size 4G63 rods work for this. Anyone can make one too, just get the 4G64 crank and the stroker pistons and some good rods and do a rebuild. Usually the compression is around 9:1, but the pistons can be special ordered for any compression. That's about it for 2.3-liter stroker.

so does anybody know of a good engine to go with that is meant for street but can handle like 500+ hp? the reason iam looking into this is because my engine now is pushing 135000 miles and is going out

Formula for a 500+hp motor.

1. Go out and buy a Corvette ZO6 (400hp stock)
2. Buy and install NOS, NXpress or any type of nitrous system
3. Jet nitrous system for 125hp shot
4. Do the math 400+125=525
