I'v been lurking for a while, yall sound like a good group of guys. I'v got a '90 eclipse that was owned by a high school girl after her father gave it to her. She broke somthing in the motor, her dad didnt want to fix it, bla bla bla, I got it. The car is in great shape. I took the motor apart and the pin that connected the cam to the cam gear snapped. While the motor was out I had the head port & polished, and the block bored .20 over and had my crank polished. I ordered a engine rebuild kit for it, it came with just about everything. I bought a pair of stock cams and gears off of ebay. This is about it. I'm kinda worried about my turbo, it makes a noise. I'm planning on a EVO big 16g to replace it. Fuel pump, injectors, Safc, logger ect. But it will be in stages. I'm sure I will have plenty of ?'s for yall.... I live about 1 hour south of Houston, if you know of any good shops. Welcome and congrats on finding a DSM. I guess not too many people are responding since you don't have any real question posted. As far as the turbo goes, i'd check it for shaft play and go from there. Keep reading and exploring the site and you can learn a lot.
