1st gen questions

Hey, I'm new and just bought a 94 talon.

Looking to build a 2.3L stroker, looking for feedback.

Secondly, I'm trying to figure out which turbo will work best with that motor, but I need to know the volumetric efficiency of that particular engine to get the "perfect" set-up. does anyone have any idea what that is or where i can find it?

Third, is it possible to convert a 2WD TO AWD? I'm told it is, possibly with mods to the chassis, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure that if the underside is at all similar, I can make it workable. I'm an A.S.E. certified mechanic, I can weld, torch, etc...so i don't think fabing shit up will be a problem, as long as I'm close enough at the outset. let me know what you all think.

Like I said, I'm new to the D.S.M. scene and this particular forum, so sorry if this all seems a little amateurish. Thanks for all the POSITIVE feedback.

You do not want to try and convert a 1g from fwd to awd. It has been done, but you will hate yourself for it once you get started. Much better to start with an awd if you want to go that route. There are a LOT of things different and you will be testing your welding and fabrication skills to the limit. Definitely not worth the time it would take. Now if it were a 2g, then that is a different story.

It is much much harder to convert a 1g fwd to awd than a 2g fwd to awd. It would be smarter to buy an awd and be done with it. To convert would be extremely costly and time consuming.
