hey when 1st and 2nd gear grinds does it mean my clutch is bad?

You double posted your thread. It can be a few reasons, One reason being your synchro's are worn out.

I agree with 57trim. Replace your tranny fuild with BG Synchroshift or Pennzoil Synchromesh and see if that helps. I have the same issue after changing to Pennzoil Synchromesh the grinding went away. Give it a try.
