so i did search first btw. all i could really find was people talking about it. but im looking for a detailed write up. i know there is some cutting required and some other stuff. could someone send me in the right direction please? also while im at it how about the same conversion in the front end. i kinda like the flip ups but im just curious LOL thanks

First off to make your life easier i would suggest taking off all the screws from the trunk panels inside and getting the panels off to be able to access all the bolts much easier.
Then after this, take off the taillights' bolts, these are all hidden behind the panels, hence why i said take off ALL trunk interior panels.
After this, start taking off the bolts holding the bumper on top and the sides as well where the corner of the taillights are.
At this point the bumper should be able to come right off. Don't forget to take off the rear wheel well pieces and unplug the connector from the bumper's harness.

Same goes for the front only much easier. Take off the center piece, headlights, and all bolts holding thr bumper.

I've done it, but it depends on what rear end you will be using. I went form 91 talon to 93 laser. The laser has the largest tail lights vertically and so all I had to do is drop down the little tack welded ledge the bumper sits on about 1". If you are going to an eclipse bumper I doubt you have to make any changes and same for talon as well but I don't know that for a fact, but the lights seems to be able to bolt on to a 1ga bumper with out a problem for the eclipse but you have to get a 1gb talon bumper to get the lights to fit for sure.

I didn't really get any pics since there isn't really anything to a get a pic of, like I said I just lowered that ledge about an 1". Drilled new holes in the body and bolted the ledge to it.
