1g vs 2g head cylinder intake runner measurements

Hi Everyone,

Can Anyone help me identify his Magnus manifold?

I bought a 92 tsi parts car that came with this manifold on it. I have verified the block is indeed a 6bolt. Now the head I am not so sure about. Does anyone know the measurements of a 6bolt dsm head cylinder intake runner outlets?

The ones on this manifold are 1.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches across, this matches the intake runner outlet on the head cylinder of the engine that came out of the car. (6bolt block).

I am suspecting they put a 2g head on a 6bolt head here.

Im trying to figure out if I can run this manifold on my 6bolt it came off a 6bolt but I never heard of a 6bolt magnus sheet metal, they are all cast now

Show us a picture of the ports. It's possible the 6 bolt has a 2g head on it. Also, 19Eclipse90 wasn't asking a question, he posted a link to another thread with info on your question.

ah my apoligies I didnt notice...

ok so thanks to the provided link, I have determined the head is in fact a 6bolt head. so the question remains in this manifold made for a 6bolt or did some dingbat put it on a 6bolt by mistake.

The manifold appears to be made for a 1G head (not just 6-bolts, but any 2.0L 1G head), yes.

Yes, it's for a 1G head. I'm running the same manifold.
